  1. David,

It’s obvious you’re startiing to come over to the visional dark side now — using a carrot instead of hooks — I’ll chalk that up as a win! Baby steps… ;-)

Nice use of the “ph” instead of an “f” — were you going for the old school phone company computer hacker angle, the more contemporary identity thief, or something else?

  2. I’m no longer a pastor (20ish years), no longer an evangelical of any kind, no longer on staff with what would seem like an oxymoron – a mega presbyterian church (esp. in Canada) – but I can still laugh (or maybe all of that is why I can laugh now) and this one made me roll. It’s just way too true and few are they who will admit it.

  3. You go ahead and use a carrot–I will use the Words of the Lord.
    Each to his own.

  4. I think the biggest carrot right now is “staying financially viable during the worst economic crisis in history.” And maybe that’s why we have Christians worshipping a golden calf right now.

    on worshiping golden calves.

  5. Sir,

    Thanks.

A phellow pastor whose getting tired of phinding the right bait

  6. Literally laughing out loud!
and I’m a fan of “vision” thinking!!

  7. nice carrot though.

  8. genius!
your take on vision really deconstructs a major problem beautifully. methinks though that it’ll always be hard to convince those for whom this is a cultural norm. the american dream and other country’s versions of it have imprisoned more people than they have ever liberated… but it is a very very big golden calf to bring down. keep going… your simple cartoons really cut through. bless your heart mate. :-)

  9. thanks jon. i’ll keep going, God willing.

  10. That was just TOO good. HA! You amaze me.

  11. MMMMM carrots…yum. Can that carrot on a string thing be put into boiling water – cause if so – yum.

  12. This makes me want to get my fish on.
