I love differences.

I love diversity.

Division, no.

Differences may seem to say we’re not one.

But at a deep and fundamental level we are.

(I love the diversity represented in The Lasting Supper… from church-going believers to atheists and everyone else. It’s rich, fun, and supportive. I personally invite you to come and join us HERE.)

Yes, I empathise. I understand that naturally we form into groups with a high cohesion and hostility to outsiders based on our need for survival.

But what if there is something more. What if in our differences we can learn to thrive and value what the other offers even if it goes against what we naturally would be inclined towards?
