LOL!!! I do wonder how we will fare as ‘weed’ becomes an available, and legal, drug of choice.

Will the percentage of addicts increase? or, stay the same, but switch from alcohol (or meth) to weed… or, will they just add it into their current mix of drugs?

I was just at a doctor’s office and on the screen tv were running public service info pieces. Marijuana causes damage to the preborn and the brain function in general. My old pastor, however, grows his own medical marijuana, for his pain, with an official licence for so many plants.

My husband claims, here on the motel bed, before a wedding, (we are travelling again), that it makes neuroses worse. I ask him how he knows this, as sometimes I gave to cut through the bullshit factor, with him. He says he knows this form Margaret Trudeau’s memoir (which I am sure he has not read, but maybe read about in the National Post). Now that I ask him, he says he knows it because someone quoted his mother to Justin Trudeau on television, trying to outline the discrepancy between envisioned policies and his mother’s own story.–Well, we did not watch it together; that I know.

Ok. What I read about Margaret Trudeau is that she says that Marijuana should be “regulated” (I think she means we need good legislation), and that it was her gateway drug to “self-medication” for bipolar/depressive episodes. (I don’t know what else she took.) –Maybe we should get a hold of her memoir, since it is presently topical and may shed some light on past events…
