    Depending on the circumstances…both can be appropriate. Which is best would of course depend upon the need.

    It all depends. Sometimes walls aren’t bad; may even be necessary at times.

    Internally, I would agree with Gary. We should build walls and gateways to ensure our ‘inner life’ goes well.

    Externally, that is between the different people-groups, I like to think that “Jesus focused on the opportunity, and not on the offense.” He wanted bridges, and lived crossing them. He appears to be very hard on anyone that placed obstacles in the bridge.
