I wrote a book about the validity and necessity of questions. You can order it HERE.

I think questions are like cats.

  1. They can’t be controlled.
  2. They have a mind of their own.
  3. They breed like crazy.
  4. They won’t go back into the bag once they’re out.
  5. They will keep you up at night.
  6. They can cause an allergic reaction.
  7. They will turn on you in a second.
  8. They will not die… they have nine lives.
  9. They will mess up your comfort zone.
  10. They can make great friends.

Any other comparisons?

    – Unlike dogs with their master (pastor or leader) that are not subservient.
    – They are freeing
    – They open one up to a sense of awe
    – They deny what some would say is childishness
    – They challenge the status quo
    – They are change agents
    – Welcoming them results in contentedness
-They are warm, comforting and stroking them has a relaxing effect.
