Phyllis Tickle, beloved American religion writer, dies at age 81. I was sad to hear of her passing. As I was going to sleep last night thinking about her, this image of angels escorting her while the red carpet is being rolled out in front of her popped into my mind. I decided it would be my cartoon for the day.

I never met her. I appreciate her work. From everyone who knew her or even just met her I’ve heard that she was an impressive person, full of grace, humor, and wisdom.

We need more like her.

I aspire to be.

Being in the UK – I’ve never heard of her before – she sounds great.

Copy of one of her books “The Great Emergence” on Amazon for £1.68 + postage if anyone is interested?
