The walls of our cubicles of belief are illusory. They seem real. They seem to divide us. They appear to function in this way.

But they are simply projections of thought. They are the misty manifestations of our ideas. Nothing more.

There is no separation.

    Yes – if we allow our differences to be divisory, if we become tribal in insensitive to “the other”.

    Some of the best times we have are when there is a shared connection and belonging whatever it is that is central to that happening. At the same time – I’m not sure I want that level of intimacy with everyone. Experience teaches me caution and wisdom with who I choose to be vulnerable with and let in and who I choose to be guarded and arm myself with.

    I’m confused with your last statement David about there being no separation. sure;y you are not advocating connection with an abuser? It’s a genuine question with the hope of being understood and understanding, not an accusation or any implication.
