I love this! my interpretation is that often many Christ followers are so overcome with ‘the fruit of the spirit’ that they ignore the grim realities of hardship right around them (especially the hardship of others). And those who are not “Pollyannas” full of an ultra positive attitude are often judged for having too little faith…. But Jesus lived in the grim realities, didn’t he?

Sigh. The church is full of so many different types of people from different backgrounds. So hard to be known and understood amongst one another.
