For me the song is about being loved and cared for and supported. Other people view that as dependency and a bad thing and weak. Personally, I don't claim to be strong; I know I need to be carried sometimes. But let anyone try to dominate me and I'll bite them. I'm not a passive sheep. Is that cognitive dissonance?
