The girl child and I have been having many conversations about destiny and free-will; at 18 she’s thrown out the language of her youth group and is really coming to know what she believes and why. Free from her church paradigm she is expressing truth in new, to her, and meaningful ways.
I showed her this cartoon and she said, ” that’s what I meant, I have a destiny and free will; God knows where I’ll end up, how I end up there is up to me. “
Beautiful! That’s wonderful to hear. I’m so glad that your little one (What? 18 is still a long way back from where I’m standing!) has chosen to explore her spirituality so fully and with such gusto.
Death is the one way? ;c)
YES! Ballou is so happy today!
I didn’t understand either of those comments.
