I think C.S. Lewis said something to the effect that a person standing amidst a swarm of mosquitoes is hell for him but heaven for the mosquitoes. I have a friend who has built a theology of judgment around that idea.
I’m also appreciating the sentiment in a wider framework. So many people have an attitude of ‘Well as long as *I’m* happy…’

I’m also a vegan, so no turkey for me. I’ve been meaning to try some tofurkey (only $10), but … for tomorrow I’ll just be eating lots of grains and veggies, which I love. P.S. I love the blog, and I hope reading the Omnivore’s Dilemma motivates you to eat less animals
