Did they mean quivering with fear? Sorry, the lady who runs the discipleship group at my church has given me a book to proofread that she's written and it's full of people 'quivering with desire'. I must say more: Take two very sensitive, codependent people. Give the wife spiritual ideals in her head about what a Christian family is supposed to be like...disaster! The only reason we survived all that-although it did much harm-was I went to counseling for 2-3 years and read a million self-help books. Religion contributed nothing but harm to the situation.
