Makes me think of something Huston Smith said.  (He keeps coming to mind, lately!!) Huston Smith says he doesn&#039;t like the old ocean analogy - that the drop of water falls into the ocean and is consumed by it - because it smacks too much of annhilation (however you spell that!).   The better analogy, he says, is that the drop of water opens to the ocean and in the opening, takes the ocean in and becomes the ocean.</description>
