Dang, to bad for that fellow. I think I read somewhere where the Word is alive, active, and able…. If that is true, then maybe the poor fellow needs to rethink and consider his thoughts and and understanding.

Regurgitating the same old stuff over and over again is what allows a cow to be stay alive, and to give that life sustaining milk that she gives.

Right! That poor fellow is in the wrong line of work if he feels that way about the Living Bread of God, that creates faith and sustains faith for sinners who are in desperate need of Authentic Life.
I think there’s plenty to chew over, but many church leaders don’t want us chewing. They just want us to swallow things whole.
We’re sheep though, not cows.
We sheep have many stomachs with which to process what we take in. All we need is time, not repetition, to move it through the process of each of our stomachs.
Regurgitating and chewing the same stuff over and over again is gonna make us sick.
Just thought I’d labour metaphor
