from the cell: via Gordon Lightfoot
Last night we had friends over, drinking wine and talking, while in the background Gordon Lightfoot played on my stereo. I love all kinds of music and wouldn’t normally listen to Gordon on a daily basis. But whenever I listen to him it throws me back to my youth when he was on the radio. It reminds me of going on fishing trips with my friends to the remote lakes in northern Ontario, drinking beer in an old cabin, listening to Gordon on a transistor radio.

Check out my t-shirts HERE. I’m growing my inventory all the time. And check out my contemplative art here.
If you liked this post, or would like to use it, please buy me a beer!

Takes me back to a different time. My parents loved Gordon Lightfoot. I have not heard him in a long time. What would everything think if I put him on my MP3 player?
God:
“Good…you’re feelings are source of a lot of trouble. Have my body and blood, and call on me in the morning.”
God could not love us and not love our feelings.
Lyrics from the chorus of a song I wrote today. Strange – it came to me in a rush while getting ready for church. A surprisingly upbeat tune for me – sorry you can’t hear it.
‘Go out in the sunshine, go out in the rain
I know you’ve been sleeping to hide from the pain
And don’t say your fine when you’re feeling insane
Let’s share the sunshine and the rain.’
OMG, I put the wrong ‘your/you’re’. Embarassed proofreader!
