cartoon: what a circus!

unbalanced diet

This is just a completely silly cartoon, but one which popped into my mind in the middle of the night and made me chuckle in bed. Here’s a cartoon that shouldn’t offend anyone, except tightrope walkers who have fallen. And maybe animal rights activists who have a heart for alligators. Or crocodiles. So I immediately got up and grabbed my trusty little Pilot G-Tec-C4 black Ultra Fine Point pen, and my loyal Sharpie Ultra Fine Point, and drew this cartoon. I hope that maybe it might cheer up your day. And please be careful. Don’t fall.

Ya know, he could be either falling, or have his foot and pole caught, hoping he doesn’t fall.

And why should the animal rights people get mad? Those alligators look pretty happy to me :)

Where did that stupid expression ‘have a heart for’ come from? That really bugs me. People say, ‘He has a heart for Israel’ or ‘She has a heart for the Phillipines’.

Well, in the old days, if you liked someone, you’d give them your heart. People would wear them around their necks. It was quite messy… So it gradually became your metaphorical heart.

This offends me as someone who often eats cereal and potato chips for dinner.

    Why??

No the expression ‘to have a heart for’ is a recent one that people keep using in churches. It makes me want to puke. I really need to know who started this and why.
