That is exactly what is coming out of many pulpits today.
Nothing.
Maybe we shouldn’t leave it to the people in the pulpit then!
My church considers itself very modern, meeting in a former cinema and all with an in house rock band and espresso coffee machine. But a recent Welsh visitor pointed out that we were actually very old-fashioned as we were still being ‘led from the front’. I’m not sure what they do in the Welsh valleys, but I hadn’t realised they were so avant garde. Can’t see our leadership team giving up control enough NOT to lead from the front.
