cartoon: wish dishes

wish dishes

This guy is skilled at juggling all those dishes. They are nice dishes. Each one has special value. Each one carries significant sentimental value. Each one he loves. They are precious dishes. They are wish dishes. Oops! He dropped one.

Life would be so much easier if everyone’s wishes, including our own, were also God’s wishes. Then one is always doing God’s will no matter who is getting the attention.

Yes, but who is to say what god’s wishes are….if such a thing existed.

steve martin – I feel you were quick to say this… I understand where you are coming from (JOY – Jesus, Other, You) priorities. But when God asks us to die to self, I don’t believe he meant in favor of everybody else but for him.

    Ruby Leigh,

    Maybe you are right.

Maybe both! (“Love God AND your neighbor as yourself.”)

Jesus said that that was the greatest Commandment.

    Thanks, RL!
