Jesus looks up at the ladder and says what are you doing way up there? I have descended all the way down (for you) to the point of even goung into the grave to get you.

But trusting in that is no fun…so we climb.

So true, so true.

And once you’ve bounce-landed, dusted yourself off, and gotten back on the ladder (usually after much deliberation); it’s kind of tempting to catch up to the ones who “bumped you off.” And then in (with a gleeful chuckle of righteous indignation, of course) when you knock them off the ladder, you can assume that the divine saftey net will teach them a lesson by conveniently letting them hit the bottom with full force.

This knocking one another down…it’s an endless cycle of what goes up must come down and you reap what you sow. I’m learning why some people spend their time digging in the dirt or dancing in the moonlight instead of worrying about the incessant climb.
