Good point. Playing it safe is just something we do naturally. When the Living Lord, Jesus, get a hold of us, we want to tell others about what He has done for us (not playing it safe…people do not like to hear the name Jesus…it can be a real party ender)
But, since we are still sinners, yet, we can all have the tendency to play it safe from time to time, until the day we die. (St. Peter is a fine example, and there is also myself…not to put myself on the level of a St. Peter…but I think you know what I mean).
But He forgives us for being scared. He forgives us for not always speaking of Him with reckless abandon. He forgives us.
There is no dealing with the prince of this world. He is the prototype liar.
And he is after us.
I guess the running of the bulls woudn’t be so dangerous if you could get this kind of deal.
I once owned a china shop…no bull.
Where I minister people get really hyped up about satanism. Playing safe to me is just as dangerous a form of satan worship to me!
Gabriel,

So why not..’not’ play it safe!?
Amen Steve!
