This is so very true. I was at a church growth, oops, sorry, church health conference last week. I got so used to hearing about churches that have attendances in their thousands that I actually started to look down at attendees when they told me about the church of 200 they pastor.
I had to take a big reality check when I returned home to my church of 30.
Like David said a few weeks ago, we’re called to serve people, not a vision.
David… your stuff is very good.
It makes me laugh too… because lots of it… philosophically I don’t agree with! yet I love it because there is some great truth there.
Really… we should hang one day
to laugh or to shake my head in sullen agreement…
both?
Sad but true.
amazing… just makes so much sense in a warped cathartic manner and I did laugh out loud, too.
i laughed out loud too….thanks.
yep. every time I need a giggle, this should come to mind.
