It is ALL about us…isn’t it?
I mean, all the attention ought be paid to us. Our attitudes, our performance, our shortcomings, our effrorts to improve, our, our, our, our.
That’s the great part about a sacramental understanding of the Word (Jesus). It take the onus off of us and places it back where it belongs…on Christ.
The constant focus on the ‘believer’ is akin to watching a dog chase it’s tail.
Yes, I can tell. You wear a dog-collar.
Hmmmm!
