This is a sculpture I just completed, called “font”. It measures 3″x4″x9″ and is sculpted out of Brazilian soapstone. It is for sale ($950).

If you like this post, or if you'd like to use it, consider buying me a beer.

  1. You might hear this a lot, but “I don’t get it.”

I actually “get” the shape, look, coloring, etc. and I think it’s an excellent piece. What I don’t get is the word “font” as a title.

The divot looks a bit off-sized to my perspective to have associations of a font. It might be the photo’s angle and lack of size perspective.

  2. Love it! and it isn’t supposed to be got….sorry webmonk…I disagree…I think you’re nic- picking…

  3. seeing as Nakedman tagged it uncer dategory “baptism,: i take it as a baptismal font.

Funny, we are in our day used to “font” as computer/type style..it took me a minute
