When the site was silent for so long, I was beginning to get worried….
This seemed true before I became a Christian. And it has frequently seemed just as true after.
There are really only two religions in the world. Christianity, and all others.
The cartoon accurately depicts the way all the other religions see it. You must somehow negotiate your way so that you can get to heaven (maybe).
God says , “I am the door…” (John 10:7). Christ is the Door and He is where you are.
Jesus controls who goes in, and who goes out. That rankles us doesn’t it? We hate it when we can’t play a role.
That’s why we have so much trouble believing it.

lol what a great picture. We are inside a box, and everyone says that you have to do this or that to get to heaven, but without Christ there is no way to get out of the box we start in. Love it

the way out is the way in. it HAS to be! aaaaaaaah!
Love the pretty pattern on the floor.
But I’ll take the airborne route, ‘cos I get a free airlift from here to there (thanks Jesus).
Plus I want to airlift a few more people on the way.
So true about trying to wrestle and wrangle with all the additions to real faith added by structure in church environments. We have rules, rituals, eating habits, drinking habits, media habits, etc..this list keeps going on and on. I think sometimes following God seems like the hardest damn chore in the world sometimes when examining it. THat’s why the cartoon is great – this is sometimes the perception we as Christians get from others and it really troubles us. Good thing it’s nothing like that.
Airlift, nice.
But most people have to get into the grave to get there.
