Hehe I just heard a teaching on this yesterday (those two passages!!) that was really interesting. Andrew Wommack it was (i think). He was highlighting that Jesus did not say He’d bring peace on Earth, but peace between men&God. And about the difference between New & Old Covenant.. Interesting that you had somewhat same topic here Clearly God is saying something (to me) .. Merry & Blessed Christmas to you&the family!!

Also, by the way I am about 6 hours ahead and our Christmas was yesterday!! (That’s when we open presents, have our main meal etc.)
