One of the gifts of seeing that God's given us. I remember as a young child, writing down the whole letters of the alphabet in the colours I knew they were. Secondarily, numbers. I never knew it had a name. After googling synaesthesia, I now know it also has a lengthy wikipedia entry and that there's an American Synesthesia Association.
