This advice is followed frequently. I see those who use a measure on themselves, become miserable, and then apply it to everyone else.
Now, that is one poignant cartoon.
This mentality is cloaked in a robe of false humility, but upon revelation, it is a clever disguise to an arrogant self-gratification that despises others. It puts the spotlight on “me” when the spotlight should be on Jesus – always.
