Sad, but so very true. So many people build their own ministries and forget that Jesus Christ is very capable of being the one and only Pastor.
Clever pastor. That solid rock of lemming-like flattery will hide and crush any pebbles of dissent which inadvertantly roll into HIS church’s path. But bigger is not always better. I’d rather be a tiny, chipped pebble in God’s pocket than part of a massive, solid, earthly rock supporting a human god.
Flattery will get you everywhere in a system like that!
